weddingFrom childhood, pretty much every girl dreams about her wedding. Every bride wants her wedding to be special and have everything exactly perfect, right down to the reception tables. In reality, you can ask any bride how not perfect planning a wedding is. Many brides find it extremely stressful to plan their own wedding, just because of all the little things that are involved. Many couples decide to hire a wedding planner to help with the process. Hiring a wedding planner that knows what they’re doing, can relieve a load of stress and make the planning enjoyable and fun. Hiring a wedding planner is costly, but worth it when the time comes for the wedding day.

A wedding planner with a lot of experience can usually help you out when it comes to finding a church or reception hall. Many planners have quite a few connections that can be of help. They usually can get you a deal with local services needed at the wedding, which can save you money that may be needed elsewhere. You also don’t have to go through the process of testing different vendors to find a halfway decent one.

A wedding planners job is to help you decide what features you would like at your wedding. There are different contracts that you can sign that lets the planner make as little or a quite a lot of decisions for your special day. They also can work as the go-between, so you aren’t hassled by churches or reception halls calling you twice a day. That is one of the big reasons you are paying them.

Most good wedding planners have also been through there own wedding planning. Small problems can arise and have huge impacts on your wedding day. Professional planners will make sure that these problems will be avoided as much as possible, since they have been there before. If something unexpected does pop-up, a pro will already have the answer.

You can decide how involved you want your wedding planner to be. If you want them to make most of the decisions or just a few, it all depends on what you want, and the contract you sign with them. Many brides and grooms like their wedding planner to set-up everything for the wedding the day of, so they can focus on the exciting event. If you have problems with your wedding planner of don’t think they are filling their part of the contract, make sure you talk to them and find the best route to go. Sometimes, it just happens that you haven’t paid for the things asked of them. Do not argue with your wedding planner the day of the wedding. Most of them know what they are doing, and arguing will just make your day unpleasant.

TIPS: When Choosing your wedding planner you should ask lots of questions. You should interview all of your vendors, you only get one shot at this big day.
Let the wedding planner know what your dream wedding is and what you expect them to take care of. Most wedding planners offer different services to fit your needs. Just be willing to let go of your control and be honest with your wedding planner. The biggest problem I see when a bride is not happy with her wedding planner is when she or the groom did not reveal information or an idea to the planner. You can have the best pannier in the world but unless you share your visions and vendor information with them they will not know.
